Applications are invited for the following post in a project under the aegis of Inter-governmental National One Health Program with Dr. Vikram Saini (PI)

Scientific Administrative Assistant	Essential Qualifications: Graduate degree in any discipline Desirable: Work experience in the areas of handling infectious samples from humans and animals, Cell culture work, handling microbial cultures, stock preparation and general understanding of molecular biology techniques in the lab is desired.   Duties and Responsibilities–   §  Conducting and supporting scientific investigations and experiments at Lab. §  Planning, setting up and undertaking controlled experiments, recording and analyzing data. §  Collecting, preparing and/or testing samples, maintaining, calibrating, cleaning and testing   sterility of the equipment. §  Providing technical support, presenting results to senior staff, writing reports, reviews and summaries. §  Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments, supervising staff and carrying out risk assessments ordering and maintaining stock and resources. §  Any other work/activity assigned from time to time. §  Provide assistance for data collection, compilation, reporting and analysis and other local action pertaining to the project. §  Assist in organizing training programme. §  Assist in the organization of technical meetings. §  Assist in compilation of monthly reviews and periodic reports and plans under the project.	Up to 50 Years	20,000 (consolidated)

VACANCY NOTICE

Applications are urgently invited for a purely temporary post of Research Associate (RA) under DRDO- funded project on probiotics mediated immunomodulation in chronic infections.

Post: Research Associate

Duration- ~ 1 year

Educational Qualifications:

PhD. in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Microbiology or any other branch of Life Sciences.

Desirable qualifications: Preferably at least 2 years of experience in immunology, animal handling, metabolism, microbiology and Molecular biology techniques, mammalian cell culture, and protein purification work. The applicant should have at least 1 published research article in reputed peer-reviewed journal.

Fellowship Amount: As per government of India rule (DRDO) 

A copy of PhD degree certificate, 1st page of Ist author publications, and list of referees with their phone no and email address has to be submitted along with CV.

Post	Qualification / duties and responsibilities	Age	Salary/ month
Senior Research Fellow	Essential Qualifications M.Sc./MTech in Biotechnology/M. Biotechnology or MSc. Microbiology or MSc in Life Sciences with a minimum of two years post-MSc experience. The candidate should have qualified NET/GATE.   Desirable Qualifications: The candidate should be well-versed with molecular biology, immunology and cell biology techniques, Experience with pre-clinical animal models for drug discovery and biomarkers will be preferred.    Duties and Responsibilities   Planning, setting up and undertaking controlled experiments, recording, and analyzing data. Collecting, preparing and/or testing samples, maintaining, calibrating, cleaning, and testing sterility of the equipment. Providing technical support, presenting results to senior staff, writing reports, reviews, and summaries. Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments, supervising staff and carrying out risk assessments ordering and maintaining stock and resources. Any other work/activity assigned from time to time.	Up to 35 Years	As per DBT guidelines (Rs 35000+ HRA)
