Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of one
Research Associate-II (RA-II) in the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship”, NIPGR under
the supervision of Dr. Divya Mishra, Scientist, NIPGR. Emoluments will be at par with similar
fellowships by DBT/DST and NIPGR fellowship norms.

Emoluments of `61,000/- plus
HRA @24%
Eligibility: Candidates having Ph. D. degree in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Plant Sciences/Life
Sciences (or equivalent subject) plus minimum three-years post-Ph. D. research experience in
industrial or academic or science and technology organization with at least one original research
paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal are eligible to apply.
Candidates having research
experience in Molecular Biology, Protein Chemistry and Proteomics study with research papers in
the journals of international repute in relevant filed will be given preference.
Certificate of
experience and Ph. D. degree along with published research paper must be produced with the
application.
The position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the scheme. The initial appointment will be for
one year, which can be extended/curtailed on the basis of assessment of the candidate's performance
and discretion of the Competent Authority.
NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidates against
the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidates. Reservation of post
shall be as per Government of India norms. The appointment may be terminated at any time by giving
one month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration
against any regular position of NIPGR.

Candidates
applying with incomplete information will not be considered for an interview. Additionally, the
candidate must use exactly the same name in the Google Form as it is in the certificate and application.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview. A web interview will be conducted. A
link with the date and time of the online interview will be e-mailed to the shortlisted candidates. The
candidates must ascertain their eligibility before applying, as ineligible candidates will not be interviewed.
Canvassing in any form or bringing influence, political or otherwise, will lead to the disqualification of
the candidate(s).
NOTE: ONLY soft copy of the application in the given format will be accepted. Application in other
