Applications are invited for the Ph.D. Programme in Bioscience (2026–2027) at IIPE, Visakhapatnam, with research opportunities in the laboratory of Dr. Polamarasetty Aparoy, Associate Professor.

Research Opportunities

• Molecular Modelling and Molecular Dynamics Simulations
• Computational Drug Discovery and Computer-Aided Drug Design
• Eicosanoid Biology
• Protein Engineering for Enhanced Thermal Stability

Who Can Apply?

• M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences or Chemistry.
• B.Tech./M.Tech. in any engineering discipline with experience in Bioinformatics or Computational Biology.

Candidates must additionally possess a valid qualification in at least one of the following:

CSIR-UGC NET or JRF | DBT-JRF/NET | ICAR-JRF/NET | ICMR-JRF | INSPIRE-JRF | GATE

Fellowship Support

• ₹37,000/month for the first two years.
• ₹42,000/month for the subsequent three years.

Subject to institute fellowship eligibility and applicable rules.
