Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in Department of Atomic Energy, Board of
Research in Nuclear Science (DAE-BRNS) funded research project entitled ‘Effects of ionizing radiation-induced
DNA damage response signaling impinging on MRPS9 and MRPS23 in breast cancer’ (Sanction No.
54/14/05/2023-BRNS) at Department of Molecular Oncology, Cancer Institute (WIA), Chennai 600 036, Tamil Nadu.
Post name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
Qualification: M.Sc. Bio-chemistry, M.Tech. (Biotechnology) with minimum of 60% marks. NET/GATE qualified
candidate will be preferred for the post of JRF.
Period of project: Three (03) years.
Fellowship: As per DAE norms (@ Rs 37,000 p.m. for first two years, third year as SRF @ Rs 42,000 p.m.).
Last date for receipt of application: 15 February 2024.
The candidate would be encouraged to work for his/her Ph.D.
