Call for Junior Research Fellow in the area of Neuroscience at BITS, Pilani – Hyderabad Campus
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the DBT funded
project entitled “Molecular Studies on Bacopa monnieri to evaluate the modulation of neuronal receptors
for schizophrenia using cell based and mouse models” under the joint Supervision of Prof. Vidya Rajesh
(Department of Biological Sciences, BITS, Hyderabad), Prof. Onkar Kulkarni and Prof. Balaram Ghosh
(Department of Pharmacy, BITS, Hyderabad).

Fellowship amount 37,000/- per month for the 1st and 2nd year; 42000/- in the 3rd year

Eligibility requirements M.Sc Biological Sciences/Biotechnology or M. Pharmacy from recognized
university
Desirable GATE/NET/GPAT qualification; The project is multidisciplinary so
knowledge and prior experience with pharmaceutical analysis, cell cultures
and animal studies will be crucial; Independent resourceful individual with
strong motivation for research and inclination to learning new techniques.
