Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a DBT sponsored research project titled “A target-guided approach for design, synthesis, and screening of host-directed therapies for TB and associated metabolic disorders (PCOS) in women”

Broad area of Research: Metabolic disorder
Duration of the project: Three years
Fellowship Amount (Rs.): RA: @ 56,000 PM + 16% HRA (@as per applicable
(Per month- for first two years) & 5% increase in salary in the third year
Accommodation: Hostel accommodation for the RA will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.
Qualification:
FOR RA: PhD in one of the fields in Zoology/ animal biotechnology/ biochemistry. In depth understanding of molecular biology, biochemistry, gene regulation, signal transduction and microbiology is a must. Candidates must be familiar with rodent handling and basic in vivo experiments.
