CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR-IITR), Lucknow, a constituent laboratory of the Council of
Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), was established on November 4, 1965. It is the only institute of toxicology
in the country contributing towards cutting-edge research and innovation. The Institute motto is “Safety to
Environment and Health and Service to Industry”. CSIR-IITR works on the “Institution First” policy and encourages
its team members to develop mega inter- and intra- institutional projects having translational values, societal impact
and institutional image building.

in the relevant area/field of
Laboratory animal care &
Management/ Pre-clinical safety
testing in GLP facility.
To assist the scientists
for conducting the preclinical safety studies
using small laboratory
animals.
To assist in the
laboratory activities in
animal House facilities
such as, collection of
blood from experiment
animals operation of
hematology and
biochemical analyzers
maintenance of records
as per the GLP/NABL
norms.
The other day to day
activities in the animal
house facility to ensure
the smooth operation.
