Online application is invited for appointment of one Junior Research Fellow under the following
project “In situ bioremediation of crude oil contaminated agricultural fields in Assam” sanctioned
to Prof. A. K. Singh, Department of Biochemistry, NEHU, Shillong. The appointment will be
purely on a temporary basis as per the regulation of DST, Govt. of India, and North Eastern Hill
University, Shillong.
Essential qualifications: Post Graduate degree (M.Sc.) in Biochemistry and who have qualified
National Eligibility Test.
Desirable qualifications: Experience in computational biology evidenced by published research
articles in Scopus indexed journal.
Nature & Period of Post: Appointment as JRF is initially for one year with a possibility of
subsequent extensions.

1. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.

4. The positions are entirely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
