RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOW (JPF)
Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for one post of JUNIOR PROJECT
FELLOW (JRF) in work in the project titled “Study on Population, Resource Partitioning and Habitat
Utilization for Conservation and Management of Horseshoe Crabs along Odisha Coast” in Zoological
Survey of India. The position is for a period of three years and purely on temporary basis and will be
terminated on completion of the project. On Completion of two years, the JPF may be upgraded to
Senior Project Fellow (SPF) based on satisfactory performance and assessment through Expert
Committee.
Educational Qualification
Master degree in
Zoology / Life
Sciences /
Biological
Sciences or
equivalent with
Zoology as a major
subject in
undergraduate
course from a
recognised
University with
minimum 60%
marks.
Desirable Qualification
Research
experience in
taxonomy,
systematics,
zoology or
allied subject,
field survey
experience in
wildlife,
wildlife
photography,
knowledge of
Computer and
basic field data
collection.
