Applications are invited for a walk in interview for recruitment of following positions on contractual
basis under the DBT funded project, entitled “DBT-NER Advance Level Institutional Biotech Hub
(Phase II)” at Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) Garchuk, Guwahati
(Assam).
Details of the positions for the project:
1. Name of Post: Project Associate-I
Salary: Rs 31000.00 + 16% HRA per month ,CSIR-UGC NET (including LS)/ GATE/
National level examination conducted by Central Govt. department, agencies, Institutions.
Rs 25000.00 + 16% (Non-NET/GATE)
Date of Interview: 04-06-2024 at 10 am -12 pm in the conference room of IASST.
Essential Qualification & Experience:
(i) Master’s degree in Biotechnology /Microbiology from a recognized university and at least one
year research experience in microbiology laboratory.
Age limit: 35 years (Relaxation as per GOI guidelines).
2. Name of Post: Laboratory Assistant
Salary: Rs 20000.00 + 16% HRA per month.
Date of Interview: 04-06-2024 at 02 pm- 04 pm in the conference room of IASST.
Essential Qualification & Experience:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology /Microbiology/Zoology/Botany from a recognized university
and at least one year working experience in microbiology laboratory.
Age limit: 50 years (Relaxation as per GOI guidelines).
Note: - All the original documents must be produced by the candidates during the interview.
