National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) 

ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region Umroi Road,

Eligible candidates are invited to apply in the prescribed format and appear in the “Walk-In-Interview” for the recruitment of following posts under the ongoing NICRA project purely on contractual basis at ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam.

Research Associate (RA) 

Rs. 54,000/- +HRA 

PhD in Plant/Crop Physiology or Master degree in Plant/Crop physiology with 4/5 of bachelor degree and with at least 3 years of research experience 

Work experience of using advance tools/techniques for stress physiology studies with statistical analysis and experience in drafting/editing research papers 

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)  

Rs.31,000/- +HRA Masters degree in Plant Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology with 4/5 years bachelor degree or Masters degree in Basic sciences with 3 years bachelor degree with NET/Equivalent and 2 years research experience 

Research experience in molecular/biochemical /physiological techniques and experience in drafting/editing research papers. 

Young Professional II (YP-II)

Rs.42,000/- (Consolidated) 

Masters degree in Plant biochemistry /biotechnology with research experience in stress studies 

Work experience for independent execution of field and laboratory works/operating portable and stress physiological tools 

Young Professional I YP I 

Rs.30,000/- (Consolidated) 

Graduate in veterinary science/Graduate in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology NET 

Working experience in microbiological /biotechnological/biochemical techniques
