Engagement to the positions of Scientific Administrative Assistant, Project Assistant, Project Associate-I, Junior Research Fellow, Senior Project Associate, Principal Project Associate & Research Associate on temporary basis to work in CSIR-CLRI 

CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), Chennai is a National Laboratory under the aegis of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). It is one of the World’s premier Institute engaged in Research & Development in the area of Leather Science & Technology and associated with several National & International Program. 

CSIR-CLRI desires to engage talented candidates as Project Assistant, Project Associate-I, Project Assistant-II, Junior Research Fellow & Senior Project Associate on temporary basis in various projects tenable at CLRI as per qualification, age etc., detailed in the table below: 

2. Project Assistant 01 Position 

Essential: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) / Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) from a recognized University/ Institute. (OR) 

B.Sc. in Biochemistry from a recognized University/ Institute. 

Upto 31.03.2025 

Rs.20,000/- plus HRA 50 years 

Desirable: Candidates having well versed knowledge with the sample collection and processing will be given preference: 

4. Project Assistant 02 Positions 

Essential: B.Sc. in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Zoology / Medical Biochemistry or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute. 

01 Year 

Rs.20,000/- plus HRA 

50 years 

6. Project Assistant 01 Position 

Essential: B.Sc. in Zoology / Biotechnology from a recognized University/ Institute. 

Upto 31.03.2025 

Rs.20,000/- plus HRA 

50 years 

8. Project Associate-I 02 Positions 

Essential: B.E. / B.Tech. in Leather Technology / Biotechnology from a recognized University/ Institute. (OR) M.Sc. Biotechnology from a recognized University/ Institute. 

Upto 31.03.2025 

Rs.25,000/- plus HRA 35 years 

14. Project Associate-I 01 Position 

Essential: M.Sc. in Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Zoology / Medical Biochemistry or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute. (OR) 

B.E. / B.Tech. in Biotechnology / Genetic Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institute. 

01 Year 

Rs.25,000/- plus HRA 

35 years
