Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology,
Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from the Indian Nationals to join in
the following project positions.
DBT-BIRAC project Identification and validation of potential drug candidates against
COVID-19-associated lung fibrosis using clinically relevant in vitro and in vivo models
Project Investigator: Dr. S. Senapati
Duration: Up to 15.10.2024
Name of position: Project Associate - I (01 Position)
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- + 16% HRA
Eligibility: Candidates having M.Sc. / M. Tech / M. Pharm. / M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Life
Sciences or allied subjects (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology, etc.) with a minimum of 55%
aggregate marks (relaxation will be given as per GOI guideline).
Preference will be given to national-level entrance test (NET/GATE/GPAT) qualified candidates. For nonNET/GATE candidates, the fellowship would be applicable as per DST guidelines.
Age Limit: 35 years as on 18.07.2024. An age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India rules.

the interview with the complete application form along with attested copies of mark sheets and certificates, age
proof, caste certificate (if any), along with the experience certificate. Incomplete applications and applications
without the above mentioned documents will be rejected.
This position is purely temporary and coterminous with the project.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding the selection of
candidates will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
