Applications from Indian nationals are invited for temporary engagement under the
following project. Engagement shall be purely on contractual basis.

Duration of the Project Two years from the date of appointment or termination of
project, whichever is earlier. Extendable further based on the
performance of fellow.

Essential Qualifications Post graduate degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/
Biochemistry/Life Science/Botany/Genetics/Plant
breeding/Plant pathology/Plant physiology/Microbiology or
Graduate/Post Graduate degree degree in professional courses
selected through a process described in any one of the
following.
1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility
Test CSIR, UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant
professorship) and GATE.
2. The selection process through national level exam
conducted by Central government departments and
their agencies and institute such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS,
DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable Qualifications Research experience in plant molecular biology, gene
cloning, construct development, plant transformation, tissue
culture, study on microRNAs, expression analysis of genes, wet
lab work, development and analysis of transgenic plants,
genome editing of plants and Knowledge about bioinformatics
tools, Scientific writing as evidenced from publication/
fellowship/ associateship/ training.
