Applications are invited to attend an Online interview for the DST-SERB-funded project at the
Division of Genetics, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi-12, as mentioned below. The post/s are purely on a
contractual basis.
The eligible candidates are requested to send their application in the enclosed proforma along with
a self-attested scanned copy of the original documents through e-mail, latest by 15-11-2024 as given
below. After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be called by email for the online
interview which is fixed on 18-11-2024 from 10 A.M onwards. Original documents will be verified
at the time of appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at a later stage,
their candidature will be summarily rejected.

Essential:
Postgraduate degree in LifeSciences/Agricultural
Sciences/ professional courses selected through a
process described through any norms given in DST
Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018
i.e
a) Scholars who are selected through the National
Eligibility Test CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship
(Assistant professorship) and GATE
b) The selection process through a national-level exam
conducted by Central government departments and
their agencies and institutes such as DST, DBT, DAE,
DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
c) JRF: In addition to the prescribed Qualification,
two years of research experience is required.
Desirable: Experience in maize breeding activities,
knowledge of Breeding Management Systems,
Genomic prediction models, molecular research,
computer and analytics
