Walk-in-interview will be held on 3rd March 2025 at 10.30 am at ICAR–Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Hebbal, Bengaluru - 560024 for filling up the post of Project Associate-I (One post) in the DST-SERB funded research project “The combinatorial effect of memory T-cell, Neutralizing B-cell epitopes, and inactivated FMD virus on the duration of immunity against Foot-and-mouth disease virus” undertaken at FMD Research Centre, ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Hebbal, Bengaluru. The project is up to 12.03.2027. 

The position is purely temporary, with an initial appointment for one year and extendable solely based on performance. 

Details of posts, age limit, qualification etc as indicated below: 

Project Associate-I (One Position) 

Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural sciences/ Veterinary Sciences OR Batchelor’s degree in Veterinary Sciences or Engineering or technology or Medicine from Recognized University or equivalent 

Experience in cell culture, extraction of nucleic acids from biological samples, qPCR, ELISA, virus neutralization test, FACS, electrophoretic techniques, other molecular biology tools etc. Laboratory animal handling and blood collection. 

Rs. 31,000/- + HRA to scholars who are selected through 

(a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE 
(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. 

25,000/- + HRA for others who don’t fall under (1) above
