Applications are invited to attend Interview (walk-in) for the post of one Junior Research Fellow in NECTAR funded
project at ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi

be held in the 4th week of Feb/ 1st week of March,2025 (tentatively). After screening the applications, the eligible

Essential Qualifications
Post Graduate Degree in Botany/ Plant Genetics Resources/
Life Sciences/ Genetics and Plant Breeding / Seed
Science and Technology/ Horticulture
Candidates selected through a process described through any
one of the following:
a. Qualified National Eligibility Test- CSIR-UGC NET
including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and
GATE.
b. The Selection process through National level
examinations conducted by Central Government
Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as
DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc,
IISER, NISER etc.
Desirable Qualification:
Experience of working on community seed system, exploration
and collection of plant germplasm, farmers centric research and
extension especially in the North-east India.
Upper age limit: 35 years on the date of advertisement. Age limits
are relaxable for 5 years for SC/ ST/ female candidates, upto 10 years
for Differently Abled candidates and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy
layer) candidates as per Govt. of India norms.
