Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-medical) for an Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Government of India-funded project entitled “Understanding the role of propionic acid in regulating PPAR-gamma and lipoprotein lipase (LPL) in Poly cystic ovary syndrome (Pro-PPL)” at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) (DDR-IIRPSG-24-RH-16)
Title of the Project : “Understanding the role of propionic acid in regulating PPAR-gamma and lipoprotein lipase (LPL) in Poly cystic ovary syndrome (Pro-PPL)”
Qualification : M.Sc., / Integrated PG degrees in any branch of biological/life sciences
Describe if any : Knowledge and experience in animal cell culture and molecular biology experiments will be preferred. Prior working experience in small laboratory animals (particularly rodents) will be preferred. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Stipend : Rs. 61600/- (Rs. 56000/+10% HRA), 5% increment for the third year, and the stipend will be as per Institute norms.
