Walk-in-Interview will be held on June 13, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. in the Seminar Room of Biological
Sciences Department, Unified Academic Campus, Bose Institute, Block - EN, Sector – V, Plot No.-80,
Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 for one (01) position of Research Associate in the DBT sponsored
project titled “Leveraging Candida albicans D-amino acid oxidase inhibitions to protect the host from fungal
infections” under the supervision of Prof. Kaustuv Sanyal, Department of Biological Sciences.
The
project is tenable upto 07.05.2028 and the position is coterminous with the project. Appointment initial
for one year, which will be extended based on the evaluation and continuation of project.
Details of qualification, monthly Emoluments, age etc. are as follows :
Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Science from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification:
1. Strong background in molecular, cellular and biochemical techniques
2. Experience with live-cell confocal imaging and electron microscopy
3. Prior work experience in yeast biology
4. Willingness to learn protein structure and function using NMR spectroscopy
Emoluments : Rs. 58,000/- p.m., plus 27% HRA
Upper
Age limit : 35 Years*.
*Relaxation of age in case of SC/ST/OBC/ Physically Challenged candidates will be as per Govt. Rules.
