WALK -IN -INTERVIEW
Interested candidates can appear for a Walk-in-Interview for the position of
Young Professional-II (YP-II) (One position only) in the “Integrated AMR Surveillance
under One Health” research project sanctioned by the National Center for Disease Control
(NCDC), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India under Pradhan Mantri
Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) at 10:30 AM on 15th July
2025 (Tuesday) at Office of the Associate Dean of the college with the latest CV and xerox
copies of academic qualifications, social status certificate (if any) etc. along with original
certificates for verification. The YP-II position is purely temporary, likely to be continued
for one year only and the position is coterminous with the project.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry – B.V.Sc. & A.H. or Master’s
degree (M.Sc.) in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Biological
Sciences (3 years Bachelor’s +2 years Master’s).
Desirable Qualifications:
M.V.Sc (Veterinary Microbiology/Immunology/Biotechnology) / Completion of residential
requirements of Ph.D. or Ph.D. thesis submission, after M.Sc. Research or laboratory work
experience in isolation & identification of bacteria, maintenance of bacterial cultures,
antibiotic sensitivity tests, AMR, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), real time-PCR test.
Conversant with routinely used computer applications in office/lab.
The minimum age limit for the YP-II position is 21 years and maximum age limit is
45 years as on date of interview. Total emoluments per month are Rs. 42,000/- per Month
(Fixed). No TA and DA will be given to attend the Walk -in-Interview.
The selected YP-II has
to travel in A.P for collection of samples as per the project objectives and shall take up any
work related to the project assigned by the Principal Investigator. Continuation of selected
YP-II during tenure of the project is based on the periodical performance appraisal.
