Walk-in-Interview for an appointment of Young Professional-II (YP-II) under the CRP Genomics Project on Whole Genome Sequencing of Labeo fimbriatus at the ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Education, Mumbai, will be held on 29th October 2025 at ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai. The appointment will be contractual until 31st March 2026, with details given below. 

Salary Rs. 42000/- per month 

Consolidated Qualifications Master of Science in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/Fish Biotechnology/ Marine Biotechnology/ Biochemistry /Microbiology/related disciplines 

Desirable Working knowledge of using molecular biology techniques; experience of bioinformatics analysis of high-throughput DNA sequencing data 

Job Requirement 

 Wet-lab validation of in silico predictions 

 Bioinformatics analysis and mining of NGS data 

 Assisting with documentation and report preparation 

Age Minimum 21 years and Maximum 45 years
