Walk in interview is scheduled for the post of research scientist-1on an ICMR project.

Project Title ICMR-Adhoc grant 

Job description 

• Wet lab experiments pertaining to molecular biology and cell signalling (Please see essential experience). 
• Documentation, analysis, presentation of work and manuscript writing. 
• Any other work related to project or as assigned by the PI/Co-PI. 
• In addition, the candidate will help in guiding MTechs/PhDs. 
• Candidate will be required to travel to collect tissue samples from the hospital. 

Period of Appointment The appointment will be on purely temporary basis for a period of 3 months co-terminus with the grant ending on 28 Feb 2026. Starting 1st Dec, 2025 

Remuneration INR 56,000/- pm + 16,800/- HRA, Total = 72,800 pm 

Essential Qualifications First class postgraduate degree. 

Essential experience 

Candidate should have demonstrated excellent technical and communication skills via presentations in conferences and publications in peer reviewed journals. 
Candidates must be experienced in the following. 
Cell culture and molecular biology techniques: mammalian cell biology assays (proliferation, Immunocytochemistry, migration, invasion), realtime PCR, western blots and DNA/RNA isolation 

Note: Experience with calcium imaging is advantageous though not essential 

Age Limit Not more than 40 years as on the last day of application. 

Selection Procedure Interview at IIT Hyderabad campus, BTBM building Room 318, 10 am, 14.11.2025. It’s a walk-in interview.
