Applications are invited on a plain paper for purely temporary positions for one Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) in a project entitled "Study of the development of radio resistance mechanism in oral cancer via single-cell profiling of patient-derived tumor models.” funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India New Delhi, India.

Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) (01)

Essential Qualification:
1. First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees in Biological Science or
2. Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees with Ph.D. in Biological Science.

Desirable Qualification: The candidate should have worked experience for Mammalian Cell Culture 2D & 3D, Western blotting, PCR, ELISA, FACS Analysis, Animal Xenograft Model, Patient Derived Xenograft (PDX), Histopathology Analysis and Expertise in Single Cell RNA and Bulk RNA Sequencing etc. The candidate is also desired to have knowledge/exposure to transcriptomics and proteomics of tumor samples and management of Research Project.

Salary: Rs. 56000/- + (30% HRA) p.m.

Maximum Age limit: - 35 years (Age relaxation will be in accordance with Government of India instructions)

Duration of the project: Till the expiry of the Project.
The selected candidate will be appointed on a purely temporary basis till the duration of the project, which is extendable till the expiry of the project after satisfactory performance.

Application is invited for following temporary post in the Department of Science and Technology, SEED Division funded project entitled, "Translational exploration of bioactive  potentiality of medicinal plants from North East Region of India" at School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Selected candidates will be appointed purely on a temporary basis up to March 31st 2026.

Position: Project Associate-II, Position (1)

Qualifications & Experience: M.Sc. in the Life Sciences, M.Sc. In ecology, bioinformatics, or computational biology, candidates with a first-class Candidates having experience working with economic crops, medicinal plants will be given preference.

Salary: (As per the norms of the university and funding agency.)
