NBPGR Genomics/Bioinformatics Project Openings

Applications are invited for the post of SRF & Project Assistant at ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi as mentioned below. Date of Project Ternmination: 31-March 2026 

CABIN project entitled "Identifications of Genes/Genomic regions associated with Fusarium head blight resistance in Wheat" 

Sub Project: Coordination unit post Senior Research Fellow (SRF) 

Emoluments Rs.37,000/- per month + HRA (as per Central Government norms) for First and Second Year and Rs. 42,000/- + HRA (as per Central Government norms) for third year. 

DBT funded Network project on wheat 

Qualification Master degree in Bioinformatics Biotechnology/Plant Breeding/Agricultural statistics/Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer application or Equivalent with Fouryears or Five years of Bachelor's degree OR 
ICAR Having 3+2 years Bachelor's Degree should have NET qualification and 2 years ofresearch experience. 

Desirable Knowledge of Statistical and Computational Genomics/ Bioinformatics Knowledge of Programming in LINUX/R/Perl/ JAVA/ PHP/JSP and use of various software and tools. 

Project Assistant of posts (01) (01) 

Rs. 20000+27% HRA 

B.Sc. in Life Science/ Diploma in Engineering & Technology/ Computer/ Information technology. 

Desirable: Experience of handling field data, familiar with software's being used in field data analysis, knowledge of Microsoft office/Excel/data handling.
