Job Description : Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-medical) for an ICMR, Government of India funded project in the Centre for Nanobiotechnology Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, T.N, India.

Title of the Project : “Formulation and characterization of diabetic wound healing gauze using PDGF-eugenol nanocomposites for Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) – A 3D bioprinting approach "
Qualification :
1. Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees
2. For Engineering / IT / CS - Four Years Graduate Degree.
Mandatory Skills : Candidates having hands-on experience in the area of 3D bioprinting/Microbiological work/animal experimentation will be preferred. Strong publication records relevant to the field. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Stipend : Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): Rs. 61600 (Rs.56,000/+10% HRA) for first-year years, Rs. 64,680 (Rs.56,000/+10% HRA + 5% increment) for the third year.

Job Description : Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist – II (Non-Medical) for the ICMR New Extramural (First in the World Challenge) grant in the Centre for Nanobiotechnology (CNBT), at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). (No. EM/Dev/FIW/00252/2024 (E-Office-227016)).
Title of the Project : “First in the World Challenge: A Nasal Spray Formula for Pulmonary Delivery to Control Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis MDR-TB”
Qualification : Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees, with three years post qualification Experience or PhD.
For Engineering / IT / CS - Graduate degree of Four Years with three years’ post qualification experience.
