Technical Support – III:
Desirable Experience:
• Experience in research projects, field studies, or laboratory work
• Digital data collection, database management, MS Excel proficiency
• Experience in Government/Research institutions preferred
Job Responsibilities:
• Coordination of field activities, data collection and quality assurance
• Supporting PI/Co-PIs in project execution and documentation
• Managing databases, schedules, logistics, and reporting
• Supporting laboratory/field operations and stakeholder engagement
For Project Technical Support – II:
Desirable Experience:
• Experience in sample handling, fieldwork, data collection
• Basic computer knowledge and documentation skills
• Experience in ICMR/health research projects preferred
Job Responsibilities:
• Support in field data/samples collection
• Maintain registers, inventories and project files
• Assist in participant enrolment and follow-up
• Other duties assigned by PI
Important Information
1. Applications are to be filled online by 28th November 2025 (4:00pm) in the mentioned Google form
https://forms.gle/Q15A5qyGGww8khy47 . Scanned (relevant) documents are to be uploaded. Shortlisted
candidates (with requisite qualifications) will be intimated (through NEIGRIHMS website) the
subsequent steps (offline interview) in the recruitment process.
2. Candidates must be able to produce all relevant documents related to their qualifications & experience in
original and submit one set of photocopied and attested copies of the same and two passport size recent
photograph, whenever required prior to final selection). The Candidates not producing the Original
Certificates will not be considered.
3. The decision of the Selection Panel will be final.
4. The candidates must be able to read and write and converse in English. Knowledge of local languages is
desirable. All the posts are purely temporary on contractual basis.
5. The appointment will be initially for a period of 1 year which may be renewed depending on performance
of the candidate and extension of the project from the funding agency.
6. Date of determination of eligibility will be as on the last date for online application.
7. The terms and conditions of contract appointment shall be governed by the contractual bond of
Agreement agreed upon by the Institute and the employee concerned.
8. Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the test/interview and the qualifications.
9. These positions will be purely on temporary basis for the specified period of time and based on project
and may be terminated earlier than expected. Leave rules are as per ICMR guidelines. The appointment
can be terminated at any time with one month’s notice without assigning any reason or if the person's
work is considered unsatisfactory by the competent authority.
10. If the appointee wishes to resign his/her job, he/she must serve one month's notice or remit one month's
salary or pay thereof, as the case may be proportionate to the shortfall in the notice period.
11. The appointee shall be on a whole-time appointment for this project and shall not accept any other
assignment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in a private practice of any kind
during the period of appointment.
12. Only one post can be applied by one individual.
13. Since the posts are purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular
appointments in NEIGRIHMS or continuation of his/her services in any other project. Benefit of
provident fund, HRA, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. is not applicable.
Last date for submission of application will be on the 28th of November 2025 and the tentative date for the
offline interview for the shortlisted candidates will be on the 4th of December 2025 from 10 am onwards on
further informed venue.
