Candidates with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG for
GEN/ GEN-EWS/ OBC-NCL category and minimum 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA at
both UG and PG for SC/ ST/ PwD category.

Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with at least CGPA of 7.5/10
or 70% of marks under GEN/ GEN-EWS/ OBC-NCL category and at least CGPA of 7.0/10 or
65% under SC/ ST/ PwD category.
Candidates with GATE/CSIR-UGC/DBT/ICMR NET qualification will be given
preference.
Desired
qualifications
Prior knowledge and hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and molecular biology
techniques.
Age limit 30 years
Age relaxation Upper age relaxation of up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically challenged
candidates.
Emoluments ₹ 37,000/- per month for the first two years and ₹ 42,000/- per month for the third year.
HRA/
Accommodation
HRA as per the institute rules. The selected candidate is also eligible for on-campus Hostel &
Mess facilities, subject to availability.
Job nature Molecular cloning, mammalian cell culture, isolation of proteins, SDS PAGE and Western
blotting, immunofluorescence, docking and MD simulations.
Other benefits The selected candidate is eligible to register for a Ph.D. degree at NIT Warangal as per the
institute rules. However, s(he) needs to apply for a Ph.D. position when the advertisement is
open.
