Applications are invited on plain paper for the post (one) of Research Scientist-I on a contractual basis in
the Multi-disciplinary Research Unit (MRU)-UCMS.
Post: Research Scientist-I
Age Limit: below 35 years
Essential Qualification:
MBBS from any institute recognized by MCI or BE/ B. Tech degree in Biotechnology or
first class Master’s
degree in Life Sciences or related subject or equivalent degree from a recognized university or
second class
M.Sc, plus PhD in Life Sciences or related subject or equivalent from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification:
(i) Doctorate or M. Tech degree in a related science or engineering subject or MD in the related subject
from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.
(ii) Additional post-doctoral research/ teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institutes.
(iii) Knowledge of computer applications or business intelligence tools / data management.
(iv) Experience of working in similar schemes in Government or autonomous organization.
Emoluments: Rs. 56000/- + HRA
Appointment will be on purely temporary basis initially for the period of 4 months (December 2025 to
March 2026) and extendable till the support from DHR.
Age relaxation as per ICMR-DHR norms.
