Project Associate-1 Position at AMRF
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Project Associate-1 to work in the
SERB-DST funded project (CRG/2022/004337) entitled “A scalable system for the production of
human induced pluripotent stem cell derived functional retinal pigmented epithelial cells” at the
Department of Immunology and Stem Cell Biology, Aravind Medical Research Foundation, Madurai
Tamil Nadu.
Required Qualification & Consolidated Emoluments: Master’s degree in Natural Science,
Agricultural Science, Biological Science, MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or
Medicine from recognized University. Selected candidate is paid fellowship as per the SERB norms
(SB/S9/Z-07/2020, dated 25th August 2020).
(i) 31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through
(a) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC
NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or
(b) A selection process through
National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and
Institutions
(ii) 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
Desirable Qualifications: Hands-on experience cell culture and molecular techniques such as RT-PCR,
WB and Immunostaining.
Duration of Project: Until 3rd October 2026, or until the project is completed, whichever is earlier.
Upper Age Limit: 35 Years
