BHU Varanasi Endocrinology JRF Vacancy

Applications are invited for One post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with a Fellowship/Fixed amount of Rs. 37,000.00 in an ANRF-sponsored project entitled "Investigating the significance of V2 and V3 variants of the gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) in the hypothalamic and non-hypothalamic neurons: new insights in neuronal physiology" (BHU project code P-07/|346) sanctioned for three years; however present fellowship is available for 14 months only from start of joining date of JRF. 

The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. 

The candidates should be M.Sc. in Zoology/Biochemistry/ Neuroscience/ Neurobiology with at least S5% marks or above from a recognized University, and must have qualified NET/GATE. 

The upper Age Limit is 28 Years (relaxable for 3 years in case of OBC and 5 years for SCIST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. 

Desirable qualifications: Candidates with experience in endocrinology and metabolism, molecular biology and immunological techniques and animal handling will be preferred.
