Walk-In-Interview for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited for walk in interview from Indian nationals for filling of one (01) purely
temporary position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the following DBT- funded research
project.
Project title “A Study of the Complex Genetic
System for Developing a Package of R/S
Genes to Breed for Spot Blotch

37,000/- + HRA per month, as
per rule
Eligibility Criteria: Post Graduate in Life Science (Botany) / Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Ag.
Botany/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Plant Breeding etc disciplines with minimum 55%
marks. The candidate must be qualified National Eligibility Test (NET)/GATE.
Desirable Qualification: The Candidate having a degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding and
experience in the area of molecular markers and QTL analysis will be preferred.
Work Description: Selected Candidates are required to contribute to management and research
tasks of this project, assist in administrative work, field visit and data collection and report/paper
writing.
