Interview for ‘Project Associate II’ position
Title of Project: Exploring ribosome hibernation in Mycobacterium tuberculosis as a
potential anti-tuberculosis drug target.
Duration: For one year only.
Age: 34 Years as on 31.01.2026
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in life sciences with NET/DBT-JRF/GATE or
equivalent exam cleared.
Minimum 60% marks in Masters or equivalent degree.
Two years' experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and
Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in gene cloning, protein purification,
ribosome purification, and cryo- electron microscopy. Good oral and written
communication skills. A strong motivation for a career in research.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Prem S. Kaushal, Associate Professor
Fellowship: Rs.42,000/- + HRA% (as applicable) per month
