Title of the project: Designing a Soil-Free Growth Medium for Indoor Plants Using Hydrogel Derived from the Marine Red Alga Kappaphycus alvarezii collected from the Rameshwaram Coast
Duration of the position: 4 months

Eligibility:
Essential Qualification: MSc Life Sciences/Marine Biology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Chemical Sciences.
Desirable Skills: Prior experience in extraction and characterization of polysaccharides or hydrogels, especially Natural polymer-based materials from algae, Ability to analyze data and prepare reports, with working knowledge of MS Excel / basic statistical tools.
Honorarium: Rs 15,000 per month
