ADVERTISEMENT FOR VARIOUS PROJECT POSITIONS UNDER THE OMBRIC

Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible candidates for Various Project
Positions (Research Associate I (RA) – 02 posts, Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-02 posts and
Project Assistant (PA) - 01 post under the OMBRIC Project entitled, "North Odisha-Marine
Bioresources Utilization & Convergence Research Centre (NO-MBUCRC)" sponsored by Science &
Technology Department, Govt. of Odisha. All the project positions are purely temporary and initially
for a period of one year which may be extended up to Five years based on the performance. However,
the appointment can be terminated at any point of time upon non-satisfactory performance of the
candidate/completion of the project. It would, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any
candidate for claiming absorption in Fakir Mohan University, Balasore.
Interested candidates may send their applications as per the prescribed format (Annexure I/II)
as a single PDF file containing the completed application form and supporting documents (Mark
Sheets, certificates, Experience certificates, Research publications, other credentials, if any) via email

Only shortlisted candidates will
be intimated through e-mail for interview. No separate hard copy of interview call letter will be
dispatched.
Candidates are required to bring the hard copy of duly filled and signed application form
(Annexure I/II) and one set of self-attested copies of educational qualifications, experience,
publications, valid ID proof, and any other relevant documents, along with the original documents for
verification on the date of interview.
No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.

Conservation - field monitoring bioprospecting of Horseshoe crabs and other
threatened marine invertebrate taxa/ Marine - Estuarine - Freshwater Ecology/ Genetics/
Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics/
Microbiology/ Immunology.
