PROJECT VACANCY -PROJECT RESEARCH SCIENTIST- I UNDER PROJECT NO. GP-497 (Advt. No. 06/2026, dated 20.03.2026)
Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for one temporary position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) under a project entitled “LAMP3 and NRP1 as predictive biomarkers for PD-1 therapy-response in cancer and understanding the mechanisms of resistance development to design new strategies” (GP-497) sponsored by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), under supervision of Dr. Anamika Bose, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Biotechnology (PTBT), NIPER-SAS Nagar.
The position is purely on temporary basis initially for a period of 1 (one) year, extendable on yearly basis on the satisfactory performance of the candidate for a maximum period of 3 (Three) years and is co-terminus with the duration of the project.
Other requirements of the position are as under:
1. Essential Qualification:
First class M.S. (Pharm.) / M. Pharm. / M. Tech. (Pharm.) or equivalent degree in Biotechnology/Pharmacology and Toxicology/Pharmacology/ Biochemistry or equivalent branch.
2. Desirable Qualification:
Candidates having experience in the area of Molecular Biology / Animal Experimentation/ In vitro experience shall be given preference.
3. Age limit: Not more than 35 years (age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD is as per GoI rules. The candidates are required to attach valid proof for claiming relaxation as per the guidelines prescribed by the Government of India from time to time).
4. Fellowship: Rs. 56,000/-p.m. + HRA, as admissible.
5. The selected candidate shall be allowed to register for Ph. D. programme as per the rules and regulations of the Institute.
6. The engagement is full time and purely temporary for all intent and purposes initially for a period of 01 year and extendable on yearly basis on the satisfactory performance of the candidate for a maximum period of 3 (three) years and is co-terminus with the duration of the project.
7. The interviews will be held in person/hybrid mode at NIPER-SAS Nagar and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Interview call letters will be sent through e-mail only. Candidate should keep their email id & mobile no. provided in the application form active. Institute will not be responsible for non receipt / delay in receipt of any communication due to deactivation of email id and or mobile number given or due to change in address etc.
