Interview for ‘Project-SRF’ 

Position Title of Project: Genetic dissection of rancidity and goitrogenic c-glycosyl flavone biosynthesis genes to enhance the shelf-life and nutritional quality of pearl millet flour. 

Age Limit: Below 35 years 

Duration: Initially for one year, and can be extended on an annual basis. 

Essential Qualifications: MSc./ M.Tech. in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Genomics/ Agriculture/ Pharmacy or any other related subject with 2 years research experience, and National level JRF eligibility test, such as NET, GATE, etc., qualified. 

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in plant transformation, molecular biology, biochemistry, protein isolation, purification Confocal microscopy, gene editing techniques. 

A candidate who has 2 years of research experience working in a relevant area with expertise will be preferred. 

Candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and a team player with good interpersonal skills. 

Investigator: Dr. Ramu S Vemanna, Associate Professor Fellowship: Rs.42,000/- + 27% HRA per month.
