Applications are invited from the highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Project Technical Support-III to work on the research project (Project Id IIRPSG-2025-01-06555) entitled "Development of a novel thrombolytic drug candidates from the blowfly (Insecta: Diptera) larvae: implications for thrombosis disorders" under the supervision of Dr. Ramaraj P (PI) & Dr. Arindam Bandyopadhyay (Co-PI), Department of Zoology, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj. 

The project is funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi under the Investigator-Initiated Research Proposals for Extramural Small Grants scheme. 

Project Technical Support-II For first two years Rs. 28000/- per month + HRA 20%. 

Essential: Three years graduate degree in Zoology/Agricultural Entomology/allied subjects + Three years post qualification (work) experience. 

M.Sc. Zoology/ Agricultural Entomology/Allied subjects. 

Desirable: The upper age limit is 35 years as on the last date of submission of applications. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India/ICMR rules. performance review Excellent academic record with first class in graduate and postgraduate examinations. Candidates with hands-on training, experience and knowledge in insect rearing and hemolymph collection, protein isolation and purification, biochemical and enzymatic assays, SDS-PAGE and related protein characterization techniques, molecular biology techniques such as RNA isolation, CDNA synthesis, PCR, gene cloning, recombinant protein expression, microbial culture techniques and in vitro and in vivo experimental studies, will be preferred. Additional preference will be given to candidates qualified GATE /NET (Life Sciences).
