An walk-in-interview will be conducted to select One (01) post of ‘Scientific and Administrative Assistant’ in Core Research Grant (CRG) project entitled “Epitope-guided design of hypoallergenic nano-vaccine for the immunotherapeutic management of dust mite allergy” funded by ANRF (formerly SERB) Govt. of India, under the supervision of Dr. Gaurab Sircar [Principal Investigator (PI), Assistant Professor, Institute of Health Sciences, Presidency University, Kolkata]; and Dr. Manasmita Das [Co Principal Investigator (Co-PI), Assistant Professor, Institute of Health Sciences, Presidency University, Kolkata].
Venue, Date and Time of Interview: Thursday, 04 th June 2026. The interview will be conducted in offline mode from 10:30 p.m. onwards in Tower-1 Room-402, Institute of Health Sciences, Presidency University (2 nd campus), Newtown Kolkata 700156.
Candidates are requested to report by 10:00 am in Room number 401 of Tower-1.
Application process: The candidate must appear before the selection committee with following documents
i) Updated CV including their contact number and email address.
ii) Government-issued photo identity proof and Age proof (original and photocopy)
iii) Original and photocopies copies of mark sheets/certificates
Age limit: Not more than 50 yearsMinimum
Educational Qualifications Required: Graduate degree in any discipline
The following qualifications are desirable but not mandatory:
a) Experience in phlebotomy.
b) Serum, plasma and blood cell isolation.
c) Work experience in pathological lab
Job description: The selected candidate will be responsible for
(i) day-to-day lab management and doing works like glass good cleaning, buffer preparation, autoclaving;
(ii) patient sample collection from hospital;
(iii) purchase related paper works
Duration of project: Three years (October 2024 - October 2027) (the post is co-terminus with the project)
Tenure of Assignment: Till the last date of the project i.e. October 2027
Fellowship/Salary: Rs. 18,000 + Rs. 5400 (30% HRA) = Rs. 23,400 per month

1. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
