Advertisement for Junior Research Fellow under ANRF funded project
Advertisement for the Post of Junior Research Fellow to join the ANRF-ECRG sponsored project (ANRF/ECRG/2025/001202/LS, dated 11/06/2026) entitled “Development of a rapid assay for detection of Fusarium graminearum for mitigation of diseases in millets."
The details of position and minimum qualifications are as follows:

Consolidated Emoluments: For Junior Research Fellow Salary: Rs. 37,000/-per Month + HRA
Duration: 3 years
Essential Qualification: Master of Science (Agriculture) in (Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Genetics)
Desirable: Highly motivated candidates with good knowledge of Genetics, Biotechnology, Plant breeding, Plant pathology, bio-analytical techniques, data analysis and their interpretations.
Age Limit: 28 Years / Age relaxation is admissible as per ANRF guidelines

Process of selection: The selection will be made on the basis of interview. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.

Terms and conditions:
1.The post will be on a contractual basis for the duration of the project.
2.The duration of the project is for three years.
3.The appointment can be terminated with one month notice or one month salary from either side without assigning any reason.
4.No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the interview or joining of post and candidate should make their own arrangements for the duration of the interview.
5.Qualification and experience should be from a recognized institute.
6.Merely fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for the interview call and selection.
7.The selected candidate will work in the project mentioned above and on any other work that may be assigned by the Principal Investigator from time to time.
