Applications on the prescribed form are invited for filling up of the following post (purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, subject to availability of grant and provision/approval by the funding agency), under the project entitled "Dissecting the graft interface signaling networks and cell fate differentiation mechanisms to overcome in vitro recalcitrance in walnut (Juglans regia L.)" (Scheme Code: HGI-235-06) funded by ANRF-PMECRG, Government of India, operative in the Department of Biotechnology, College of Horticulture, Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan (HP).

28,000/- per month (fixed) co-terminus with the project 

Essential: B.Sc. with four-year degree program in Biotechnology/Agriculture / Horticulture with First Division from a recognized University / Institution. 

Desirable: M.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology / M.Sc. (Agri.) Molecular Biology and Biotechnology with hands-on experience in plant tissue culture, gene expression profiling using real-time PCR, and relevant research publications in the thrust area of the project. 

Candidates with prior experience in walnut or similar recalcitrant species will be preferred. The applications, complete in all respects, should reach the office of the Head, Department of Biotechnology, College of Horticulture, Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan (HP) – 173 230 by 10.07.2026 up to 5:00 PM and walk-in-interview/written test will be held on 15.07.2026 at 10:00 AM onwards in the Department of Biotechnology, College of Horticulture, UHF, Nauni, Solan.
