BRIC- Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of
Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, and Government of India is an emerging
multidisciplinary institute engaged in advanced research invites applications from Indian Nationals to
join in the following posts in sponsored projects.
Project Title: “BFI-BIOME Virtual Network Program - A potential vaccine candidate for mucosal candidiasis.”
Project Investigator: Dr. Narottam Acharya

Fellowship: Rs. 58000/- per month (consolidated)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION
Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences with minimum TWO first author peer reviewed research articles in any
science citation indexed journals.
Candidates those who have submitted thesis and waiting for the Ph.D. degree
are also eligible to apply, however appointment will be made as SRF and upon submission of Ph.D. degree
certificate, the position will be revised to RA. Research experience in cell and molecular biology, immunology
and infectious disease biology will be preferred.
Project duration: 12 months.
Age Limit: 35 years as of 15.07.2026. Age relaxation will be provided in accordance with the rules of the
GOI.

until termination of the project.
The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Only
short listed candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The
decision of the Director regarding selection of the candidates will be final and no correspondence will be
entertained in this regard.
