VACANCY NOTICE
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE–1 (RA-1; One No.) [Code: PJ_GOA_RA082026]
Position for RESEARCH ASSOCIATE-1 (RA-1; one no.) is available in the Omics
of Algae Group (GOA), ICGEB, New Delhi. The position is available initially
for one year with further extensions based upon performance.
Title of the project: “BioCO₂nnect-Algae: Harnessing Non-Model Strains for
Carbon Capture and High-Value Bioproduct," funded by the Department of
Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, GoI, New Delhi, India.
Educational qualifications (as per DBT guidelines):
Required qualifications and experience for RA-I: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or
equivalent degree or 3 years of research, teaching, and industrial experience after
an ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in a peer-reviewed journal.
Experience in handling algal strains is mandatory, along with knowledge of
omics biology/photobioreactors etc.
