The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (www.instem.res.in), Bangalore is an
autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology,
Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field
of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation.
To develop strengths in focused areas, research at BRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative
interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory.
BRIC-inStem invites applications (online) from eligible candidates for contractual position of Junior
Research Fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Reena Singh. We are looking for dedicated professionals who
are result-oriented, can assimilate, analyze and communicate data effectively and are excellent team
players capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Self-driven candidate with
experience working in any
of the following stream -
Molecular Biology, Stem
Cells, Cancer Biology,
Immunology and/or
Developmental Biology.
Minimum work
experience required is of
one year, in a research
institute with mandatory
expertise in – Microscopy
(confocal), FACS analysis,
Cell culture and molecular
biology techniques.
The candidate is required to
carry out day to day wet and drylab research activities in the lab
of Dr Reena Singh.
The work entails cell culture,
immunostainings, confocal
microscopy, FACS, PCR and
animal handling.
Position is available with
immediate start.
Tenure: Contractual appointment for 12 (Twelve) months, renewable based on requirement and review
of progress and requirement of the Grant.
