The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (www.instem.res.in), Bangalore is an
autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology,
Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field
of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation.
To develop strengths in focused areas, research at BRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative
interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory.
BRIC-inStem invites applications (online) from eligible candidates for contractual position of following
Scientific position in the laboratory of Dr Reena Singh.
We are looking for dedicated professionals who
are result-oriented, can assimilate, analyze and communicate data effectively and are excellent team
players capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

PhD or MD/PhD in Molecular
Medicine, Molecular Biology,
Developmental Biology, Stem
Cells, Tissue Engineering, Human,
Animal or Cell Physiology and/or
any other relevant degree
equivalent to PhD.
Experience in animal handling and
small surgeries.
Additionally,
prior experience in molecular
biology, confocal imaging and
FACS technologies is preferred.
Wet lab, cell and tissue
culture, animal handling
experiments, data acquiring
and collating, research
finding presentations in lab
meetings and appropriate
forums, participating in
review articles, paper
writing and publications.
Tenure: Contractual appointment for 11 Eleven months, renewable based on requirement and review
of progress and requirement of the Grant.
