NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application for the position of
“Research Assistant - III on Contractual basis through Manpower agency for a project entitled
“Neuroanatomical Studies to elucidate the Development of the Human Auditory Cortex”.
Interested candidate fulfilling the following requirements can submit duly filled in application as
per attached format along with CV and self-attested copies of certificates in support of their qualifications

Essential Qualification
• M.Sc/ BTech/ Fulfilled the requirement for a Masters
degree or equivalent from a nationally recognized institute
AND 4 or more years research experience
Desirable experience
• Experience in histology, cryosectioning and
immunohistochemistry
• Bright field and Confocal microscopy
• Stereology and three-dimensional reconstruction of neurons
Fellowship ₹ 42,000/- (Consolidated)
Age limit Maximum 35 years (as on the last date of receipt of application)

Tenure The tenure will be for a period of 6 months and continued up to a
year based on performance review and validity of the project. The
post is co-terminus with the project funding availability.
Accommodation Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC, subject to
availability.
