Online Interview for JRF/PA-I position in ANRF project
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up a purely temporary one position of Junior research
Fellow/Project Associate-I in the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) funded project titled
‘Dissecting Direct miRNA–miRNA Regulation: A Novel Layer of Small RNA Crosstalk’ under the supervision of
Dr. Shailesh Kumar, Scientist, BRIC-NIPGR. The details of position are as under:
Candidates holding a Master’s degree (with at least 55% marks) in in Natural Sciences/Agriculture/Life
sciences/Plant biology/Botany are eligible to apply. The norms for emoluments, and general terms and conditions
of research personnel engaged in the project will be as per ANRF norms, informed through Office Memoranda
viz., ANRF/OM/N/01/2024 and SB/S9/Z-06/2019 and updated from time to time.
Candidates with research
experience with rice, Molecular Biology and Genome editing techniques will be preferred.

The above position is completely temporarily and co-terminus with the project. The fellowship/emolument amount
for the above positions is as sanctioned in the project and as per DBT/DST norms. The initial appointment will be
for one year or till the tenability of the project whichever is earlier, and tenure of the post can be curtailed based on
the assessment of the candidate's performance and the discretion of the Competent Authority.
BRIC-NIPGR
reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending on the qualification and experience of
the candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The appointment may be terminated at
any time by giving one month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for
consideration against any regular position of BRIC-NIPGR.
Candidates need to apply by filling up the necessary information in the given google form within 15 days from the
date of advertisement and upload scanned copies of all the certificates/marksheets (from Xth standard onwards) of
educational qualification and experience in single PDF with the application. Candidates applying with incomplete
information will not be considered for an interview. Additionally, the candidate must use exactly the same name in
the Google form as it isin the Certificate and application.
Only Shortlisted candidates will be called for an online
interview. A web interview will be conducted. A link with the date and time of the online interview will be emailed
to the shortlisted candidates only. The candidates must ascertain their eligibility before applying, as ineligible
candidates will not be interviewed. Canvassing in any form or bringing influence, political or otherwise, will lead to
the disqualification of the candidate(s).
