Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for the following positions
under the DST-sponsored project entitled “COE-AMRDPAA: Centre of Excellence for
Exploring Challenges to Identify Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Drivers and Potential
Antimicrobial Alternatives in a One Health Approach.”
Interested candidates are requested to
submit their applications along with a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) either in person or via
bemail to the Professor & Head, Division of Animal Biotechnology, on or before 4 Sept 2026.

Research
Associate-I

norms
Essential qualification:
Ph.D. Microbiology/ Medical Microbiology/ Biotechnology.
Desired qualification:
Experience in R&D projects related to AMR, molecular
diagnostics, diagnostic kit development, AI-based tools, and
data management.
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant
publications and patents.
2 Project
Associate-I

Essential qualification:
Masters in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/
Microbiology/Clinical Biochemistry.
Desired qualification:
Experience in molecular biology techniques, particularly
digital PCR and microscopy.
Preference will be given to candidates who are interested in
pursuing a Ph.D. as part of the project.
3 Project
Assistant
As per DST
norms
Essential qualification:
Masters in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/
Microbiology/Clinical Biochemistry.
Desired qualification:
Experience in basic molecular biology techniques and cell
culture.
Preference will be given to candidates who are interested in
pursuing a Ph.D. as part of the project.
No TA/DA shall be provided for appearing in the interview.
The position is temporary, and the appointee shall have no claim for absorption in
SKUAST-K.
