Essential Qualification:
(i) Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent AND
(ii) 2 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
Desirable: The candidates with at least 2 years of experience in virology, mammalian cell culture, advanced microscopy, molecular biology, handling live viruses in BSL-2/3 facility and operating high-throughput screening platform will be preferred.

General Information: Appointment is purely temporary basis and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the research project. Leaving of position will be done after one month of accepting resignation letter from candidate or on mutual understanding basis. The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in the Funding Agency. Appointment of the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Funding Agency, and liable to changes as directed by the Government/Funding Agency particularly applicable to the said project. The educational qualification mentioned above should have been obtained from recognized Universities/Institutions only. The educational qualification and work experience are the bare minimum, and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.
