Desirable / Job description Phenotyping of plants for yield, biotic and abiotic stress traits/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Proteomics/ Bioinformatics (Transcriptome analysis etc.)

Desirable / Job description Genome editing in rice/ Rice tissue culture and transformation/ Phenotyping of plants for yield, biotic and abiotic stress traits. Handling and management of rice plants in Plant growth chamber/ Glasshouse/ Field. To assist in ongoing molecular biology/microbiology/ biochemistry experiments in the laboratory and plant experiments at the field.

Essential Qualification Bachelor’s degree in life sciences plus 3 years post qualification experience in molecular or cell biology OR Masters degree in life sciences. 

Desirable / Job description Candidates with 3 years of lab experience in molecular or cell biology and animal handling will be preferred.
