NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (BRIC-NBRC) invites application for the position of
“Project Research Scientist-I” under under ICMR small grant - project for investigating “Assessment of the
effects of odor simulated virtual reality therapy on alleviating craving”.
Interested candidate fulfilling the following requirements can submit duly filled in application as per

Name of the post Project Research Scientist- I
Essential Qualification Ph.D or equivalent degree with at least one research article published
in reputed and indexed journal.
Desirable experience
• Proficiency in Python/MATLAB, Linux Operating systems
• Handling Neuroimaging (MRI) data or neurophysiological
(EEG/MEG) data
• Any kind of time series data from real-world measurements.
Fellowship ₹ 56,000/- pm + HRA (as per applicable). No other allowances/benefits
will be admissible.
Age limit Maximum 45 years (as on the last date of receipt of application)

Tenure The tenure will be for a period of 01 year / till the availability of the
funds of the project, whichever is earlier budget, but extendable based
on performance review and validity of the project. The post is co-terminus
with the project.
Accommodation Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC, subject to
availability.
